Model 250 Headsail Roller Reefing & Furling Spar (NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION)The Model 250 came in four sizes (12, 16, 19 & 22mm forestay pin sizes) which were similar in appearance - all used same Foster F5 extrusion for the luff spar.Model 250 12 & 16mm designed for yachts with forestays from 7 to 10mm diameter. Model 250 19 & 22mm designed for yachts with forestays to 14mm diameter. Foster F5 spar extrusions were supplied in standard lengths of 13.7 metres or cut to length required, offering the reliability of a joint-free spar. Where splicing was required the spar was cut at 45 degree and twin splice tubes were supplied with monel rivets for each join.  |
